Taxi - local point-to-point prices will vary.  Flat rate of $45 to and from Manhattan (from JFK); catch a cab at the Taxi Dispatch Stands in front of the terminals at airport; Prices may vary upon airports.

Subway - The quickest way to get around the city.  $2.00 fare—one way; roundtrip $4.00; Metro Card value varies depending on how many stops you’ll make!

Bus -

• M60 (from LaGuardia) à goes to Manhattan; last stop is at W 106 St. and Broadway (transfer onto the 1 train to go downtown) OR get off at Hoyt Ave/31 St. bus stop (Astoria) and take the N or W trains to Manhattan
• Q33 (from LaGuardia) à goes to Queens; last stop is Jackson Heights terminal (transfer at Roosevelt/74^th St station for the E,F,R,V or 7 trains – all go to the city)

• AirTrain at JFK connect to ‘A’ subway line at Howard Beach/ JFK Station à $5.00 for AirTrain (which goes from airport terminal to terminal; $2.00 for Subway fare); take ‘A’ subway line to Manhattan, approx. 60-75 min. from JFK to mid-Manhattan

• Q10 (from Kennedy) à goes to Queens; transfer at Lefferts Blvd. to take the subway into Manhattan (take the A,E,F and R)
  * Bus stop is located on arrivals level of terminal frontages

• Q3 (from Kennedy) à goes to Queens; Connect at Hillside Ave. and 169^th St., take the F or R to Manhattan * Bus stop is located on west side of Terminal 4 at airport

• Trans-Bridge Lines: (800) 962-9135 or (610) 868-6001. Three trips per day to Port Authority Bus Terminal, 42nd ST. & 8th Ave., in Manhattan. Fare is $12.00 Bus stop located in front of Terminal 4 on the arrivals roadway.

• New York Airport Express Service Bus: (718) 875-8200. Departure every 20 30 minutes. Bus Terminal, Grand Central Station, Penn Station. Fare is $15.00. Bus stop located at the Express Bus Stop at each terminal.

•   FROM Newark Airport:

  • Take the AirTrain Newark System ($5.00 fare approx. or less) to connect to the NJ Transit

  • From the NJ Transit (Newark Airport Station) à take train all the way to NY Penn Station; the ride is approx. 25-30 min.
